I'm putting a couple of ads in this post that are obliquely related. The first deals with one of the points that I make about health in developing countries and the problems of clean water. This ad addresses, not the workers, but the children who are the victims. Found at brand curve.
The second ad is about global warming. This particular as points out something very important. Hope the folks in the "ark" are paying attention. Found at ADpunch.
The anti-drug PSA was very powerful. Here is a print equivalent for second hand smoke.

I found this print ad on Advertising/Design Goodness and it is very appealing. Says everything, says it simply and is stylish and conceptually original. Enjoy! LINK
Adpunch has a couple of ads from this campaign asking jewelers to boycott gold from an Alaskan strip mine. Appealing to previous environmental stances taken by the Jewelers of America, the ads ask they not use this gold.
Forgot to note the link source, but they had several of the Greenpeace print ad series running under that criminal arrested, photographed and booked look. Here are a couple of them.

The Center for Media Research says newspapers are still America's number one shopping media. On Sundays, half of shoppers check the newspapers' offerings. Three other days are in double digits: Saturday, Wednesday and Friday in decreasing order.
